Downloading and Installing ProctorFree

This guide begins after you have already determined your designated access path for ProctorFree's Launch Portal.
 Windows

From the ProctorFree Launch Portal:

  1. Select an available link.
    • Complete payment if required.
      • You will not be prompted for payment again if you must relaunch the same session.
      • Please contact the Support Team to request a refund if needed.
  2. If this is your first time using ProctorFree, select the available link to start the ProctorFree Desktop Application download.
    • Once the download completes, open the downloaded file.
    • The ProctorFree Desktop Application will complete a brief install and will launch automatically once complete.
    • You may close the application or simply return to the download page, select the exam link, and begin the System Check process.
  3. If you've used ProctorFree's Desktop Application previously, it will launch automatically, downloading and installing any necessary updates before beginning the System Check.
 Mac

From the ProctorFree Launch Portal:

    • A window will open - drag the ProctorFree application into the Applications folder.
    • Open the Applications folder and run the ProctorFree application.
    • The ProctorFree Desktop Application will complete a brief install and will launch automatically once complete.
    • You may close the application or simply return to the download page, select the exam link, and begin the System Check process.
  3. If you've used ProctorFree's Desktop Application previously, it will launch automatically, downloading and installing any necessary updates before beginning the System Check.
