How do I check my computer's processor?

ProctorFree's processor requirements can be found on our Technical Requirements page. In some instances, processors that meet our minimum requirements may still experience issues due to background applications. Prior to getting started with ProctorFree be sure to completely close all non-essential background applications.

Checking your processor information for Windows
  1. Open Windows Explorer (this is where you would normally locate your downloaded or saved files on your computer.)
  2. Right click on "This PC"
    1. Select "Properties" from the drop-down list
  3. A new window will open with the processor information listed under the System section

Checking your processor information for Mac
  1. Click on the apple icon in the top left hand of your screen
  2. From the drop-down select "About This Mac"
  3. A new window will open displaying the processor information
