What do I do if ProctorFree Aborts during my session?

When completing a session with ProctorFree users who's computers don't meet our minimum requirements or experience technical issues (internet connectivity, too many background applications, etc) may find that ProctorFree will automatically abort during their session. If this occurs please contact our support team immediately through our Live Chat located in the bottom right-hand corner of all ProctorFree web pages. Our team will assist you with documenting the issue, informing your partner institution, and relaunching ProctorFree. We strongly advise that your make your professor aware immediately as well.

In instances where your camera crashes, ProctorFree Aborts, or issues are experienced completing your exam it is imperative that you relaunch ProctorFree before continuing with your exam. You should speak with your instructor prior to beginning your exam to understand in the event that you experience an issue whether you will need to close and relaunch your exam as well as ProctorFree, or simply relaunch ProctorFree while leaving your exam window open. Some exams will prevent re-entry/multiple attempts or may have time limitations preventing access after the initial launch. ProctorFree support staff will work with you to relaunch ProctorFree but will be unable to resolve potential re-entry/multiple attempt issues and will require assistance from your partner institution to do so.
