My Exam Never Opened - Pop-up Settings

In some instances, your browser's pop-up settings may have prevented your exam from opening successfully in a new window.
Before performing any troubleshooting steps review all open browser windows by clicking on your browser application towards the bottom of your screen to review open windows/tabs.

Reviewing your Firefox browser's pop-up settings (Windows)
  1. Click on the Options (☰) icon in the top right corner of the Firefox browser, and select "Options" from the available list
    1. The "Options" window will open
  2. Click on the "Content" tab
  3. Un-check the "Block pop-up windows"
  4. Close the Options Window
  5. Pop-Up Windows are now enabled in Mozilla Firefox Browser
If you are in an active ProctorFree Exam Session:
  1. Locate your ProctorFree Exam Session Window (the floating webcam capture)
    1. Click "End ProctorFree Session"
  2. Attempt to re-launch your exam from the ProctorFree Student Portal Exam List

Reviewing your Internet Explorer browser's pop-up settings (Windows)
  1. Click on the Settings (gear icon) in the top right-hand corner of your Internet Explorer window
    1. Select "Internet Options" from the drop-down list
  2. In the new window select the Privacy tab
  3. Un-check the "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" option
  4. Click the "OK" button
  5. Pop-Up Windows are now enabled in Internet Explorer
If you are in an active ProctorFree Exam Session:
  1. Locate your ProctorFree Exam Session Window (the floating webcam capture)
    1. Click "End ProctorFree Session"
  2. Attempt to re-launch your exam from the ProctorFree Student Portal Exam List

    1. The "Preferences" window will open.
  2. Click on the "Content" tab
  3. Un-check the "Block pop-up windows"
  4. Close the Preferences window
  5. Pop-Up Windows are now enabled in Mozilla Firefox Browser.
If you are in an active ProctorFree Exam Session:
  1. Locate your ProctorFree Exam Session Window (the floating webcam capture)
    1. Click "End ProctorFree Session"
  2. Attempt to re-launch your exam from the ProctorFree Student Portal Exam List
