Using a Dual-Camera Device

ProctorFree supports dual-camera devices!

During the compatibility check, if you have multiple cameras, you can select which camera to use for the duration of your session. 
Choosing your camera

If your device has more than one camera, you'll be presented with a dropdown during the System Compatibility Check to select which camera you'd like to use with ProctorFree. Choose your preferred camera from the list to continue.

Your selection should carry over automatically to the Profile Creation and Authentication steps.
Cameras with Automatic Lighting

Some devices include automated lighting adjustments made by the camera, which can prevent the camera from meeting ProctorFree's minimum lighting requirements, even after the correct camera has been selected from the dropdown.

If your selected camera is unable to meet ProctorFree's minimum lighting requirements due to automatic lighting adjustments, ProctorFree recommends utilizing an external USB camera instead.
