How do I pick which camera I want my computer to use? (Dual Camera Device)
ProctorFree is currently unable to provide official support for dual camera devices. Below are some troubleshooting steps that users may attempt when utilizing these devices however these do not guarantee compatibility with ProctorFree.
Known issues
Users are unable to choose the front facing camera on their device for use with ProctorFree.
Some devices include automated lighting adjustments made by the camera preventing the camera from meeting ProctorFree's minimum lighting requirements.
- In the event that users complete these troubleshooting steps and are able to successfully utilize ProctorFree similar steps will be required for future use of ProctorFree.
- ProctorFree recommends disabling both the front and rear camera and utilizing an external USB camera in situations where the front facing or both cameras are unable to meet ProctorFree's minimum lighting requirements due to automatic lighting adjustments.
